But it also about much more than just being physically present.
How you choose to be present when you are around your partner, is equally important for long-term satisfaction in your relationship.
Respect is about how you see your partner.
People are very intuitive and can sense very quickly when we see them as inferior to ourselves.
Respecting your partner starts with the image you hold of them in your mind.
You can pretend to respect them, but if you actually don’t, it will show.
Presence and respect are two fundamental elements that contribute to the overall quality of any love relationship.
However, if you are only present and respectful every now and again, it won’t make any difference.
Therefore, the third, and almost magic sauce to this whole thing is consistency.
Doing all the right things can help, but doing them consistently will create the quality of relationship you actually want.
You cannot go to the gym once a week, every other week, expecting to be lean and super fit.
It is a daily grind of putting in the hard work.
Your relationship with your partner is no different.
You have to keep doing the right things, consistently, to get the quality of relationship you desire.
