Small Things Matter in a Big Way

By TRG Editorial Team, 28 Aug 2025

Small things matter in a big way.

Nowhere is this idea more true than in a love relationship with another human being.

In a love relationship, small things are usually big things and big things tend to have a smaller value.

Always speaking respectfully to your spouse or treating them with kindness and affection are small investments that yield big returns.

Going on an extravagant holiday might seem big at that moment, it might even be, but in the long run means very little when a marriage is coloured by frequent strife, poor communication, little connection, and lack of intimacy.

In that case, a daily hug will always take you further than all the money you can spend momentarily.

Small things matter in a big way when it comes to your marriage.

When it comes to love, the rules are different.

And when it comes to your spouse, big is nice, but small is priceless.

Aim to be big on small.

For when small becomes the way, big also starts meaning something.
