In this video post, I want to share a simple lesson on how to lose weight I discovered recently on a 10 cruise to a few Pacific Islands.
Not too long ago, we went on a 10-day cruise to a few islands like New Caledonia and Vanuatu and it was epic, to say the least.
However, going into this I was a bit hesitant as I do like my routine and wasn’t sure how I would be able to replicate it on board the ship with a LOT of distractions and temptations.
Staying fit and being healthy were two of my priorities and I knew doing that could turn out to be tough if I didn’t bring my A-game and heaps of self-discipline.
I mean, some people literally go on cruises to eat and sleep … I’m not joking.
But at the end of the journey, my results surprised even myself as I managed to knock off more than 4kgs (which have been bothering me for a while) in 10 days which taught me a valuable lesson … one I share with you here today.
Now it’s your turn … I want you to think about your approach to your health, weight or fitness goals and ask yourself:
“Do I have an effective plan to lose weight that I’m actually sticking to at the moment, or do I jump around a lot?”
If you are plan-hopping I would seriously encourage you to stop that and start to stick to one thing for now.
You will see results a lot quicker and get the motivation to keep going with it.
Many people seem to stop just before they see results or lose weight, before moving on to the next thing, just to repeat the same process.
